WILL BE SERVING BREAKFAST BURRITOS, HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS, AND THINGS

PLAN TO STAY AND EAT, BEFORE, AFTER AND DURING RACE!

WHO:

Anyone  who does run, would run, could run, and probably some who absolutely hate to run! 

There is plenty of time to start training or forming your RELAY team.

running, run/walking and walking only is sincerely welcomed! **

Run, walk, crawl, push strollers, ride bikes, bring your dog on a leash!


■  Non-competitive Division (NOT eligible for medals)  FREE

Just show up for a nice walk around the town!


If you would like a number so we can track your time, you can get it at registration. 
If you don't want your time, just show up at the start line and have fun!

each team member runs a little over 2 miles

Relay teams have option to either run together

 1st leg member starts with 2 milers and 10Kers; 2nd leg runs when 1st leg returns to start/finish line; 3rd leg same

WHEN

May 8, 2010 at 7:30am;   ENTER by MAY 1st for guaranteed t-shirt and prizes

 

WHERE

Starting line will be at the Satanta High School track, just south of Hwy 56 on the NE corner of Satanta.  2 mile runners will run the loop once.  10K runners run loop 3 times.  10K RELAY runners will run same loop, handing off at the starting line, so there will be a lot of shifting of people and excitement on the course. 

 

WHY:

  Fun!  Age group prizes!  Medals for winners!  Door prizes!  Well marked course through beautiful Satanta!  Water station!  Fruit and snacks!  Because you can!  Why not?!

 


 

SWFTR, Southwest FunTime Runners Assn. is bringing a time clock and will list our race on the SWFTR schedule.

Enjoy the other Satanta Day activities following the races, including the parade, a carnival, the community BBQ,  craft show and car show.  Kids races will be run on Main Street at 9:30am and no preregistration is necessary.  SATANTA DAY INFO for more complete schedule.

Bathrooms will be available and showers upon request.
